Service Projects & Mission Trips
Our service program builds relationships between our community and the diverse needs and populations of our city. Every student at DePaul College Prep serves at least 20 hours during the school year and these hours may include volunteering at a school event. Individual students may serve through their house of worship, a social service outlet of their choice, or help a neighbor in need. Clubs and Athletic Teams serve together and the school as a whole sponsors various collections for food, clothing, and other items. DePaul College Prep has partnered with these and other organizations: Misericordia Home, Horner Park, Rincon Family Services, Maryville Crisis Nursery, Saint Paul’s House, Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Program, and soup kitchens on the north side.
We also offer an annual week-long service immersion trip to a location in the United States and a bi-annual trip to Central or South America. Past trips include serving with Catholic Heart Work Camp in Kentucky and Virginia, and installing stoves in a rural community in Guatemala.
