Our boys' basketball team traveled to the south side to take on the Caravan of Mount Carmel.  The Rams took advantage of the struggling Caravan and came away with a 73-45 victory.  This marked the last division game in the CCL Blue for the Rams.  They finished with a 5-3 overall record within the conference.  The win also gave our boys their 20th win of the year.  The Rams are now 20-6 on the year with one regular season game left on the schedule before they prepare for the Class 3A IHSA Regionals.  They will take on Montini Catholic, a CCL foe, in a non-conference match-up this upcoming Thursday, February 22 at 7 pm.  Then the following week on Tuesday, February 27th they will compete in the IHSA Regional Semi-final when they take on the winner of the Alcott v. Noble/Speer matchup.  That game will tip at 7:00 pm.  Good luck Rams!

Our ladies faced off against last year's state finalist - Marshall and gave the Commando's everything they could handle.  The Commando's came off of Regional wins where they defeated both opponents by 60 points.  The Rams were not intimidated and held their own for three-quarters of play before Marshall began to slowly creep away.  The Commando's shot the ball very well behind the arc and made their free-throws down to stretch to solidify a 56-43 win and in the process ending our Rams season.  Our ladies played very well and showed the Commando's that we will be a threat in Class 2A in the future!  The Rams finished up their season with an overall record of 18-8 and in the process won their third consecutive IHSA Class 2A Regional title!  Nice season ladies!
