February 25, 2026 Junior High Choir

The DePaul Prep Junior High Honor Choir event is designed to allow current 5th through 8th grade singers to experience what choir is like in high school. Junior High Honor Choir participants will prepare repertoire, rehearse with the DePaul Prep Advanced Choir, and then perform alongside the Advanced Choir in our Winter Concert, all in one evening! Participants will receive sheet music and recordings of repertoire prior to the event.

Rehearsal will start in the DePaul College Prep music room at 4pm. The final performance will start at 6:30pm in the DePaul Prep Commons and will conclude by 8pm. Members of the DePaul University School of Music will be providing instruction and support for the event as well. Parents, Family, and Friends are welcome to attend the final performance!

This event is FREE! Participants will receive a free DePaul Prep Music T-shirt and pizza dinner.

Musicians of all experience levels are welcome! Registered participants will receive specific details about their choir day as we get closer to the date.
