Yes! Raffle chances are available at: https://www.depaulprep.org/support/walk-to-wrigley-raffle. We ask for your participation in the Walk to Wrigley Raffle by selling raffle tickets to your family, friends and network before May 28. It’s now even easier -- you can sell your raffle tickets online through www.depaulprep.org. Donors will be able to designate the “student-seller” when they purchase their chances online.

Stubs and raffle money are due to Ms. Mueller by Thursday, May 28. Raffle ticket chances will be stopped online by Thursday, May 28.

The Grand Prize is still $5,000. The student-seller of the Grand Prize-winning ticket will get $500 cash. The DePaul Prep student who sells the MOST tickets will still get to THROW THE FIRST PITCH at a Cubs game when the season starts up! An agreed-upon game will be determined for the student and their family to be honored with the first pitch at a Cubs game in the future when MLB and baseball resumes.

The Grand Prize-winning ticket will be drawn live at our virtual Spring Fling event on Saturday, May 30, along with the student-seller of the winning ticket. We will also announce the top student-seller who will throw out the first pitch at a Chicago Cubs game in 2020. If MLB does not resume for the 2020 season, the top-seller prize of the first pitch will still be honored for the 2021 season.

Unfortunately, because of the pandemic and circumstances beyond our control, there will not be a “walk” to Wrigley Field and a baseball game this school year.

How are you? I hope this message finds you and your family doing well in these uncertain times. 

The Walk-to-Wrigley Raffle is an exciting and important annual fundraising event sponsored by our DePaul College Prep community.  Originally scheduled for Friday, April 24th, students and faculty would have walked together as a school approximately 2 miles from DePaul College Prep to Wrigley Field to watch the Chicago Cubs play the Phillies. Although we will not be able to walk to Wrigley Field together as a community this year, the Raffle is still on! The Walk to Wrigley Raffle directly benefits the students of DePaul Prep by supporting scholarships and tuition assistance.

Prizes this year include: 

• $5,000 Grand Prize!
• $500 to the student who sells the grand prize-winning ticket, and
• The top student-seller who sells the most tickets overall will be awarded the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a Chicago Cubs game in the 2020 or 2021 season!
