If you plan to include DePaul College Prep in your estate planning, below is suggested language to share with your financial or legal advisor. We ask that you include our legal name and Tax ID.

"I give to DePaul College Prep Foundation, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation whose address is 3333 N. Rockwell, Chicago, IL, 60618, Tax ID #81-4516326, (the sum of $_____) or (____% of the residue of my estate) for its general purposes."
DePaul Prep Foundation may receive bequests from an estate of a deceased donor provided that the personal and/or legal representative of the donor has the full authority to act upon the donor’s behalf.
To assist donors or their counsel in drafting testamentary language for a future gift, the following general language will be provided as a guide:
- For a specific bequest: “I hereby give and bequeath $_____ from my estate to DePaul College Prep Foundation, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation, Chicago, Illinois, for its general purposes.”
- For a remainder gift: “I give and bequeath all (or _____%) of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate to DePaul College Prep Foundation, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation, Chicago, Illinois, for its general purposes.”
